Job summary

Clarios, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Toledo, OH to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems. The role requires reading schematics and manuals, performing preventive maintenance, and following strict safety protocols.

Shift options include 2nd and 3rd shifts with differential, a standard 12 days on/2 days off schedule, and required overtime on weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (480v), and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred, but not required.
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Work with 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits, PLC hardware, ladder logic, and motor controls (VFDs, soft starts).
• Operate shop tools such as lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, and power saws as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to safety protocols including PPE requirements and LOTO procedures.
