Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for 1st and 3rd shifts at our Columbus, OH location. The role focuses on maintaining facility and production equipment, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of all systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC troubleshooting skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

Five years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Experience in troubleshooting of PLC programs: Siemens, S5, S7, ABB, and Bosch is a plus.
Understand control wiring, and logic diagrams.
Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and stooping may be required.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Assist in improvements of production equipment and controls to increase productivity in Columbus.
Follow policies and procedures in line with company guidelines.
Ability to multitask and support daily activities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
PLC and HMI troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Hands-on engineering mindset; interpret component catalogs.

Responsibilities

Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
Repair industrial equipment including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulics, compressors, chillers and boilers.
Follow and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Maintain complete production lines and perform PMs in a timely manner.
Ensure safety practices and compliance with codes and regulations.
Maintain records related to materials and work orders.
