Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical trades, oversee preventative maintenance, and coordinate with OEM service providers to keep plant equipment running at peak performance.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong knowledge of building systems, TPM practices, and the ability to manage safety and costs within a represented labor environment. You will contribute to continuous improvement and equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial facility.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a represented environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, motors, pumps, piping and electrical systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Mechanical and Electrical Tradesmen.
• Manage vendor relationships and safety/compliance processes.
• Oversee work order management and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical control systems on lab equipment.
• Deliver rapid reporting for disruptions and coordinate shutdown planning.
• Support TPM and continuous improvement metrics.
• Lead safety initiatives and maintain zero incidents.
