Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a skilled technician to perform expert break-fix and preventive maintenance, plus design improvements for mechanical and electrical equipment on complex systems in a factory environment.

You will program, troubleshoot, and analyze control systems, perform predictive analyses using vibration and other technologies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives with cost-saving outcomes. Strong safety compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience; or 10 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to travel.
• Six Sigma experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance, and/or design of mechanical and electrical equipment improvements as required.
• Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/hardware and configuration problems.
• Utilizes predictive equipment and interprets results for analysis, equipment condition assessment, troubleshooting and proactive maintenance.
• Leads CI activities—processes, results and cost savings using CI tools and methodology.
• Identifies and sources parts and repairs; suggests alternatives to improve reliability.
• Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
• Trains and coaches less proficient technicians; assumes project manager responsibilities as assigned.
• Follows all safety policies and guidelines.
