Job summary

ThermoSafe Technologies Inc in Portland, IN is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment to maximize plant reliability. This on-site role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires multi-craft knowledge, proactive maintenance, and timely corrective action.

The position emphasizes root cause analysis, PM/ PdM programs, safety, and collaboration with operations to minimize downtime and improve asset performance.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics, including PLC logic.
• Experience with NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and motor controls preferred.
• Willingness to work off-shift and overtime, including weekends.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems to support reliability.
• Install and service AC/DC drives, motors, PLCs, and industrial controls.
• Conduct root cause analysis and support preventive/predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Collaborate with operations to identify abnormal equipment conditions impacting safety, quality, or throughput.
