Job summary

ThermoSafe is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician I to support maximum plant reliability. The role involves proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

You will operate within a safety-focused environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The position is on second and third shifts in Conyers, GA, with a starting wage of $31.69 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

Experience in an industrial environment or military experience.
Strong proactive maintenance and reliability thought process.
Ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
Knowledge of NFPA 70E – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
Comfortable with climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working off-shift with overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures and set the standard for safe behavior.
Proactively maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
Install/troubleshoot/maintain AC and DC drives/motors.
Troubleshoot PLC programs and modify or write PLC code as required.
Weld and fabricate electrical, piping, pneumatic, and mechanical components as needed.
Perform shop work with machining equipment when required.
Document maintenance activity in the CMMS system for asset history.
Collaborate with operations to resolve abnormal equipment conditions and develop operator skills.
