Job summary

ThermoSafe in Putnam, CT is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech to support maximum plant reliability by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role uses multi-craft maintenance knowledge to support the Maintenance Excellence Process through proactive maintenance, root cause analysis, equipment improvements, and timely corrective action.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics including PLC logic.
Experience with NFPA 70E standards and industrial controls.

Responsibilities

Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
Proactively maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment to support reliability.
Install and troubleshoot drives, motors, PLCs, and industrial controls.
Evaluate issues, determine corrective actions, and minimize repeat failures.
Conduct root cause analysis and support preventive maintenance.
Document maintenance activities in CMMS and support continuous improvement.
