Job summary

Sonoco Products Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician to support maximum plant reliability in Greensboro, GA. You will perform proactive maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems, while collaborating with operators and engineers to minimize downtime and improve asset performance.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Proactively maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Read and understand schematics including PLC logic.
• Experience with NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Install, test, and repair drives, motors, and related equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to avoid repeats.
• Document maintenance activity in CMMS and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve abnormal equipment conditions.
