Job summary

Sonoco Products Company is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician in Greensboro, GA for 2nd shift. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
Perform all tasks in a safe manner.
Set the standard for safe behavior.
Look out for your co-workers’ safety.
Proactively maintain, improve, install, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems/equipment.
Install/troubleshoot/maintain AC and DC drives/motors.
Effectively perform troubleshooting activities on PLC programs.
Weld as required by location.
Fabricate and install electrical, piping, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment as required by location.
Document maintenance activity in CMMS to build asset history.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment inspection and lubrication.
Meet/exceed housekeeping and 5S standards.
