CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance of instruments, equipment, buildings, and facilities. The role ensures continuity of operations, manages CMMS and spare parts inventory, and leads a maintenance team.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance strategies, coordinating subcontractors, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. A strong mechanical/industrial background and leadership experience are essential.

Formación

• Strong knowledge on mechanics, electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Knowledge of automation and control logic systems, reading and interpreting drawings and electrical systems.
• Capable of thinking technically.
• Able to convey information to / negotiate with third parties (suppliers/operations).
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• Min. 8 years of experience in Industrial processes, people management and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enforce maintenance management guidelines to support Production efficiently.
• Draft and manage inspection and preventative maintenance plans to minimize breakdowns.
• Lead and support resolution of technical breakdowns and manage small maintenance projects.
• Organize, coordinate and supervise maintenance subcontractors.
• Ensure CMMS procedures and spare parts inventory are properly logged and maintained.
• Draw up and monitor the working budget and adjust resources to stay within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental standards, and internal policies.
• Oversee facility improvements, maintenance, and CAPEX projects.
• Develop skills within the team and promote continuous improvement.
