Behr Paint Company in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical issues on our packaging and filling equipment. You will read work orders and schematics, operate a forklift, and perform preventive maintenance with a sense of urgency.

You will work on conveyors, pumps, valves, balers, and taping machines, performing lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements while keeping safety a priority and collaborating with the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of on-the-job mechanical experience.
• 2+ years of on-the-job electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and work orders.
• Able to operate a forklift safely (certification not required).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot broken equipment to determine issue and repair safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication on machines per schedule.
• Assist with facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting as needed.
• Maintain safety and respond with urgency to downtime.
