Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 3 to maintain and optimize complex equipment across our manufacturing or distribution operations. You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues with advanced troubleshooting.

Your daily tasks include reactive repairs, proactive maintenance, fabrication, and supporting team members. You will also keep accurate records, promote safety, and contribute to a clean, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial maintenance including plumbing, mechanical, and electrical repairs.
• Proficient in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding and fabrication.
• Skilled in automated and material handling systems and general PC operations.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely (certification not required).
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and process issues related to automation, conveyor systems, material handling, and motor repairs.
• Use shop equipment to fabricate and repair components.
• Perform routine maintenance and develop solutions to improve efficiency and prevent recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate records, promote safety, and keep a clean, organized work environment.
