Job summary

Northgate Gonzalez Market seeks a skilled MFG Mechanic II to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment with minimal supervision in our plant in California. You will assist the Maintenance Manager with the preventive maintenance program and ensure equipment safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work with Production, QA, and Sanitation teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Solid knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, drives, and conveyor components.
• Tests, troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions of processing and infrastructure equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operating regulations.
• Document maintenance activities and support root cause analysis.
