Job summary

George’s is seeking an Occupational Maintenance Technician to repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment in the facility. You will perform preventative maintenance and manage tasks across all equipment in your area.

You will work with a range of hand and power tools, lifting and fabrication equipment, and must be able to read manuals and blueprints. Join a team focused on safety and reliable operations with opportunities to contribute to plant improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in machine or facility maintenance.
• Experience reading technical manuals, blueprints and schematics desired.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance documents and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned area.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment in the facility.
• Perform repairs and equipment installation/removal as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and paperwork.
• Respond to plant emergencies per supervision guidance.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for work orders and checklists.
• Undertake special projects as assigned by supervisor or manager.
