Job summary

United Initiators is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems while supporting safe and reliable plant operations. The role involves hands‑on troubleshooting, maintenance work orders, and participation in reliability programs on a manufacturing site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in industrial maintenance, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in chemical industry desirable.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly and handle physical work.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call when needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain site mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Create, revise and close maintenance work orders in the CMMS.
• Support safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and tools.
