Job summary

Great Hire is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Brea to keep our production facilities and machinery running at peak efficiency. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and document all work in the CMMS while adhering to OSHA and safety protocols.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong reading of blueprints and manuals, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic meters.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces; knowledge of safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase), motor controls, relays, and basic PLCs.
• Support general facilities maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and structural repairs.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards, LOTO protocols, and relevant regulatory codes.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders in the CMMS.
