Job summary

Handcraft-Services- in High Point, NC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment on a 4x10-hour shift schedule (Wed–Sat, 1:00 PM start). You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform preventive maintenance, and document all work in the CMMS to minimize downtime.

You will work across teams to improve OEE, mentor junior technicians, and uphold safety procedures. A high school diploma and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Foundational electrical troubleshooting ability.
• Comfort with hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Team-first mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own safety: follow procedures, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.
• Execute preventive maintenance: perform inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and scheduled service to keep assets reliable.
• Troubleshoot and repair: diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues; restore equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
• Partner across teams: coordinate with operations to support equipment uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Document work: record findings, repairs, parts used, and PM tasks with clear, accurate entries.
• Share expertise: collaborate with peers and coach junior technicians to build team capability.
• Contribute as needed: perform other duties as assigned.
