Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a 1st shift (Mon–Fri) with overtime and on-call as needed. You will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years in industrial maintenance and electromechanical/hydraulics/welding, plus PLC learning readiness and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, electromechanical, hydraulics or welding.
• 3+ years of maintenance in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial electrical wiring is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools for hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Willingness to learn PLC programming or troubleshooting.
• Forklift experience and Hubbell forklift training may be required.
• Commitment to OSHA health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled and emergency maintenance repairs of production equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on drives, motors, belts, and fluids.
• Repair machines and structures using tools and diagnostic devices.
• Servicing, adjusting and testing machines and equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test repairs.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts with hoists and tools.
• Read manuals, orders, diagrams, and blueprints to perform maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering and Mold Shop on projects and mold setup.
• Promote safety and work with others on larger tasks.
• Assist with mold setup when required.
