Job summary
Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks a Maintenance II to perform skilled electrical and mechanical work, installation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment in our Tulsa facility.
Candidates should have basic electromechanical knowledge, safety focus, and the ability to work overtime as needed. The role requires reading technical drawings, following safety protocols, and coordinating with other departments to keep production equipment running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of relevant industry experience.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for paperwork.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and basic electrical/hydraulic/mechanical drawings.
- Ability to read tape measure and electrical schematics.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Assist in the installation of distribution equipment per NEC/UL.
- Diagnose, test, disassemble, inspect, and reassemble plant equipment.
- Perform basic pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting.
