Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Claremore, Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance I candidate to assist with basic maintenance functions under the supervision of the Maintenance Lead and Supervisor.

This training-position role focuses on foundational mechanical tasks, safety compliance, and adherence to PM schedules. The position requires basic mechanical knowledge, the ability to read drawings and tape measures, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to follow instructions.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic drawings.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PMs and general maintenance repairs and projects under supervision.
• Repair worn parts and fabricate fixtures and equipment by welding or cutting.
• Record labor and materials in the IFS system and report hazards.
• Follow arc flash, LOTO, fall protection and PPE requirements.
• Operate basic industrial lifting equipment as needed.
