Job summary

Qualifications

• Journeyman card preferred; may apply for journeyman card with UAW.
• Minimum 8 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in confined or high-temperature areas.
• Must wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots).
• Able to lift and exert physical effort as required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical distribution systems.
• Test circuits and electrical components with appropriate devices.
• Assist in writing specifications for repairs and new construction.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Maintain service and repair records.
• Respond to routine and emergency repair calls.
• Back up fellow Maintenance staff as needed.
