Jobot is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its 2nd shift maintenance team in a heavy industrial setting. You will diagnose, repair, and improve production and facility equipment while ensuring uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a maintenance technician role
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and reading schematics
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and electronics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with high self-motivation
• High safety awareness and knowledge of safe working techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time and priorities to meet deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field is a plus
• Must be able to work 2nd shift hours and be available for occasional overtime and weekend work as needed

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical problems in various systems and equipment
• Read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly and facilities operating efficiently
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and costs
• Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance with minimal interruptions
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain clean, organized work areas
• Document and maintain records of maintenance and repairs
• Evaluate systems and recommend improvements
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance as needed
