Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform routine maintenance on large industrial textile processing equipment and to assist the Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer. You will report to the Chief Engineer and ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, use of power/hand tools, and reliable English communication. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with occasional forklift operation and parts pickups as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions.
• Proficient with power and hand tools used in maintenance.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• A team player with initiative and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on large industrial textile equipment.
• Assist Maintenance Technician/Chief Engineer as required.
• Inspect equipment and report issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety rules and plant procedures.
• Drive and pickup parts as needed.
