Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance professional for a decades-old US metals manufacturer in Wisconsin. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and driving operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, with strong knowledge of CMMS, schematics reading, and calibration. Excellent teamwork and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with CMMS and CMM.
• Experience with motors, relays, and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to avoid breakdowns.

Responsibilities:

1. Performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment including but not limited to pumps, conveyors, relays, and motors.
3. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4. Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
5. Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments.
6. Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
7. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
8. Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
9. Wiring electrical controls and calibrating equipment for optimal performance.
10. Assisting in the development and implementation of new processes and technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
2. Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
3. Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
4. Familiarity with CMM and CMMS.
5. Experience with motors, relays, and other electrical controls.
6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
7. Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and ladder logic.
8. Experience with conveyor and pump maintenance.
9. Skills in calibration and mechanical maintenance.
10. Knowledge of P&ID and maintenance best practices.
11. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
12. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
13. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
14. A high school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
