Job summary

Cisco is seeking a technically deep, senior pre-sales leader for its Industrial IoT team. You will own the OT/IT solution strategy, translate customer needs into Cisco architectures, and guide partners and customers through complex industrial networking, security, and edge use cases.

Demonstrated ability to drive multi-year technical plans is required. You will engage with machine builders, OEMs, system integrators, OT distributors, and strategic partners to shape solutions and enable field

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or network architecture within industrial environments.
• Proficiency with Cisco Industrial portfolio including Industrial Routing/Switching, Wireless, and Security; familiarity with SD-WAN and related enterprise architectures.
• Experience bridging IT and OT domains with ability to align technical solutions to critical infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements for high-impact IIoT opportunities from discovery to value proof and close.
• Act as SME in OT/IIoT, guiding account teams, partners, and customer stakeholders.
• Shape architectures across industrial switching, routing, wireless, and secure remote access.
• Translate OT business problems into Cisco solutions for plant modernization and resiliency.
• Collaborate with teams to build multi-year technical strategies and pipeline motions.
• Create demos, workshops, presentations, and enablement sessions for customers and field teams.
• Develop reusable assets, reference architectures, and field guidance to scale IIoT knowledge.
• Provide field feedback on requirements, competitive gaps, partner friction, and opportunities.
• Support escalations with clear tradeoffs and cross-functional alignment.
