Job summary

Cisco is seeking an Industry Solutions Engineer for Manufacturing to serve as the technical authority on OT/ICS security and production uptime. You will map Splunk’s platform to manufacturing environments, design demonstrations, and drive AI-enabled tooling across order processing and warehousing.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering for manufacturing, with SAP integration experience and a strong grasp of OT/ICS security and industrial monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role, with manufacturing focus.
• Experience with OT/ICS environments (SCADA/PLCs/MES) and IT/OT convergence security challenges.
• Background in security operations, observability, or industrial monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical expert on Manufacturing use cases (OT/ICS security, uptime, supply chain visibility).
• Design tailored demonstrations, POVs, and reference architectures mapping Splunk to manufacturing environments.
• Drive AI adoption and internal tooling to automate order processing, invoicing, sourcing, and warehousing.
• Architect SAP integration to connect plant-floor operations with back-office systems.
• Influence product roadmap with insights from customers, safety, and regulatory trends.
