Job summary

SkyIO, Inc. seeks a Digital Factory Developer with 3–5 years of experience to design and implement digital manufacturing applications across plant operations.

You will work with MES, SCADA, IIoT, and data systems, creating dashboards, APIs, and integrations while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes hands-on development, system testing, and startup activities, with a focus on operational visibility, connectivity, and performance improvements in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation, manufacturing systems, or software integration.
• Experience with AVEVA/Wonderware.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networking concepts.
• Experience with relational databases and data integration.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing within project teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing software applications and integrations
• Configure and deploy solutions involving MES, SCADA, IIoT, and industrial data systems
• Develop dashboards, APIs, scripts, and database solutions to support plant operations
• Integrate production systems with ERP, quality, and business systems
• Support industrial communications and connectivity using technologies such as OPC UA and MQTT
• Participate in system testing, commissioning, and startup activities
• Collaborate with controls engineers, software developers, project managers, and customer stakeholders
• Assist with technical documentation, troubleshooting, and user training
• Support multiple client projects in a fast-paced consulting environment
