Job summary
Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Manager of Digital Solutions & Development to lead a team of software and BI developers, govern Azure DevOps, and drive the company’s digital transformation across OT. You will establish development standards, manage CI/CD pipelines, and deliver scalable, secure applications and integrations.
You will partner with OT Automation, SMS/MES, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable digital solutions, while ensuring governance,
Qualifications
- 3+ years of people leadership in software/technical teams.
- Experience with Azure DevOps administration, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC and DevSecOps.
- Manufacturing industry experience with MES, IIoT and OT environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software and BI developers and future data architects.
- Own Azure DevOps administration, governance, standards, and adoption.
- Develop and enforce SDLC and DevSecOps standards for quality, security, and traceability.
- Lead development of internal web apps, tools, reporting platforms, and digital solutions.
- Oversee API-based integrations between manufacturing, business, and third-party systems.
- Govern Power BI and Microsoft Fabric platforms, security and lifecycle management.
- Establish architecture, documentation, testing, deployment, and support standards.
- Translate requirements with OT Automation, SMS/MES, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Manage backlogs, priorities, resources, and delivery commitments.
- Support data governance, access control, audit readiness, and compliance (IATF, ISO).
- Monitor deployment metrics, platform adoption, and solution quality.
