Job summary

Eastern Industrial Automation (EIA) is seeking a results-driven Inside Sales/Customer Service specialist to support OEM and industrial customers. You will handle inquiries by phone and email, prepare quotations, and work with manufacturers to secure pricing and product details.

The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years in customer service or inside sales in industrial environments, a high school diploma, and strong research and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Solid and dependable work history.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
• 1–2+ years of Customer Service or Inside Sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, OEM, or similar environment.
• Experience with international markets is helpful.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn Eastern Industrial Automation's extensive product offering.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• ERP experience is preferred; Epicor Prophet 21 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers primarily by email and phone.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, product information, and literature for customers.
• Research products and technical information to identify solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for pricing, availability, and product details.
• Provide technical and product support based on customer needs.
• Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, warehouse, and technical teams.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, packing, shipping, and occasional product delivery when needed.
