Job summary

Shell in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Instrument and Electrical (I&E) Technician to provide technical support to construction, plant facilities and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems and equipment.

Responsibilities include PLC/DCS maintenance, reading schematics and drawings, and mentoring less experienced technicians. You will work on 4-10 schedules and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• NFPA 70E certification required.
• Electrical and instrument NCCER certification or equivalent degree.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and SAP.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain instrument and electrical equipment components.
• Maintain PLCs or DCS systems and related controls.
• Read schematics, P&ID, and engineering standards.
• Provide mentoring and safety performance.
