Job summary

Energy Systems is hiring for a Field Service Technician specializing in Emergency Power Supply Systems. You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs on generators, read and interpret manuals and schematics, and deliver timely reports on service activities.

Responsibilities include after-hours emergencies and preventative maintenance, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compliance with NFPA and state regulations. A valid driver’s license and Generac certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 4+ years servicing and troubleshooting Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS).
• Ability to obtain/maintain Generac certification in air-cooled and Protector series.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and repair of generators.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs after hours, weekends, and holidays as directed.
• Read manuals, schematics and work orders to perform maintenance and repairs; create reports within 24 hours.
