Job summary

Energy Systems is seeking a field service technician to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of industrial generators. You will conduct emergency/unscheduled repairs, preventive maintenance, and read schematics and manuals to complete work orders.

You must detect faults, report findings to the service manager, and stay compliant with NFPA and state regulations. The role requires 4 years of EPSS experience, a valid driver's license, and deep knowledge of power generation,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 4 years of servicing and troubleshooting EPSS.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Knowledge of mechanical design, AC/DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of generators.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during off-hours, weekends and holidays as directed.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on generators.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics and work orders to perform maintenance and/or repairs.
• Detect faults and report them to the service manager promptly.
• Stay current on NFPA and state regulations for emergency power systems.
