Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division is seeking an Industrial Generator Field Service Technician 2 to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize gas/diesel engines at customer sites. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing scheduled and unscheduled service activities, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically requires 2–4 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet background, drug, and medical requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Support service coordination for customer calls or requests and process service orders and spare parts.
• Manage Genuine Parts and tools orders after handover from Sales to service coordination.
• Prepare service orders for invoicing and collect data, invoices, and labor sheets.
• Maintain and share technical information from Service Library and coordinate documentation changes.
• Oversee invoicing, closing orders, and communicate customer conditions.
• Keep service shop documentation current and support training opportunities.
