Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or training preferred.
• 3+ years in power generation, electrical systems, or diesel engines.
• Experience with Cummins, CAT, Kohler, MTU or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, 110 and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service on power generation equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, cooling, control, and starting system issues.
• Conduct load bank testing and generator performance evaluations.
• Document findings, repairs, parts usage, and recommendations through service reports.
