Job summary

Herc-U-Lift, Inc. is seeking a Field Territory Sales Representative to grow new, used, and rental forklift sales within a designated territory.

The role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering tailored material handling solutions. You will engage with accounts, analyze fleet metrics, collaborate with service teams, and participate in meetings and training to stay ahead in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or vocational training preferred.
• Experience in material handling or logistics industry a plus.
• Must reside in the assigned territory and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop new, used, and rental sales strategies for forklift equipment.
• Maintain relationships with multiple customer accounts for Industrial Forklifts and related equipment.
• Communicate with customers regularly and visit as needed to drive growth and retention.
• Analyze customer fleet metrics (cost per hour, equipment age, rental usage) to inform reviews.
• Research accounts and generate or pursue sales leads.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Service Technicians to support renewals and expansion.
• Attend meetings, sales events and training to stay current with developments.
