Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Fire Ops Technician to join our operations and maintenance team in a contingent role. The technician provides advanced expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on facility systems in a large industrial environment, including clean rooms.

Responsibilities include building testing, fire system assessments, NFPA 20/25 compliance, routine inspections, and safe operation of lifting equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of maintenance experience in HVAC/Industrial mechanical/machine repair or automotive repair.
• Ability to work in aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building testing and inspections.
• Assess fire suppression systems and provide NFPA 20/25 compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and cranes safely.
• Maintain safety with PPE and LOTO procedures.
