Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Fire Ops Technician to join our operations and maintenance team in a large industrial environment. The typical work schedule will vary based on business demand, and the role involves advanced response to work orders, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on facility systems including clean rooms.

The position requires self-motivation, strong time management, and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial facility equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Five years of maintenance experience in Industrial HVAC/Industrial Mechanical Machine Repair, or Automotive Repair.
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.
• May require additional licensing per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building testing and inspections.
• Assess fire suppression systems.
• Perform NFPA 20 and 25 requirements.
• Maintain regulator records and perform routine inspections of fire protection systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in the CMMS.
• Troubleshoots and repairs and operates safety equipment and lifting devices.
