Job summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled General Maintenance Technician V to join our manufacturing maintenance team in Portland, OR. The role focuses on expert-level response to work orders, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance across HVAC, pumps, conveyors, robotics, and other facility systems in a large industrial setting including clean rooms.

Applicants should have six years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical skills, welding ability, and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience performing mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.
• Willingness to work overtime and holidays/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform maintenance per safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC machinery, conveyors, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance actions and CMMS-driven tasks.
• Repair and fabricate as needed; operate forklifts, cranes, and lifting equipment.
