Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Life Safety Systems Specialist to join the Operations & Maintenance team in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safe operation of facility systems in a large industrial environment, including clean rooms.

Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment, executing preventive/corrective maintenance, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance through NFPA 20/25 and related standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Three years of job-related experience.
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.
• May require additional licensing per state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot industrial facility equipment and systems.
• Respond to work orders and provide service to the customer while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Perform NFPA 20 and 25 requirements and maintain regulator records.
• Maintain safety equipment, PPE, and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
