Job summary

MasterTech in Detroit, MI is seeking Field Service Technicians to install and support sheet-fed postpress equipment at customer locations. The role involves extensive travel, occasionally on-call duties, and overtime as needed to ensure equipment is up and running.

Technicians will perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, document issues, and provide remote support while maintaining up-to-date training and safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience with printing/packaging equipment is beneficial.
Industrial manufacturing or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
Electrical systems knowledge (AC/DC, three-phase) is an asset.
Knowledge of SPS programming and drive technologies.
Strong problem solving and documentation skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

On-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components to ensure machinery is properly installed and operational.
Maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and reporting issues; complete documentation of service activities.
Provide remote support and stay current with training requirements and safety protocols.
