Job summary

MasterTech in Norfolk is seeking Field Service Technicians to install and service mechanical and electrical systems at customer sites, with extensive travel to locations near an International Airport. Shift is day, with overtime and on-call opportunities.

Ideal candidates have experience with industrial maintenance, electrical wiring (AC/DC, 3-phase), SPS programming, and strong problem solving, communication, and documentation skills to ensure installations are operational and meet customer

Qualifications

• Experience with printing, corrugated, prepress, postpress, flexo presses, folding and other printing/boxing equipment is extremely beneficial.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of SPS Programming, automation technology and drive technologies.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.

Shift:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday with ample overtime + occasional on-call.

MasterTech is on the search for Industrial Technicians based near an International Airport, requiring extensive travel to customer locations.

Field Service Techs will be responsible for the on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring the machinery is properly installed and operational.

Detail-oriented FieldService Techs are responsible for the on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery along with reporting issues and completing documentation.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous printing, corrugated, prepress, postpress, flexo presses, folding and other printing/boxing equipment is extremely beneficial.
  
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems is a definite asset; AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring.
  
• Knowledge of SPS Programming, automation technology and drive technologies.
  
• Ability to conduct installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, repairs and provide recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date training while providing remote support.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
