Job summary

Global Industrial Company is seeking skilled technicians to service industrial equipment nationwide. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and reinstall components, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Travel and field work are essential to meet customer needs and maintain uptime.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to PM schedules while coordinating with dispatchers. A strong mechanical background and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good mechanical aptitude/skills.
• Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit within customer framework.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret safety and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Visually inspect, test, and locate malfunctions in machines and equipment.
• Discuss machine operation variations with customers to diagnose problems and repair machines.
• Dismantle machine parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
• Install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and belts.
• Organize follow-up repairs with dispatch and PMs at multiple locations.
• Fill out timecards and keep records of work orders and parts.
