Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites while also contributing to SOPs and digital recordkeeping at the Addison, IL facility.

You will travel 3–4 days per week, primarily domestically, and provide on-site training, support post-installation, and ongoing service improvements. A BS/AAS in electronics or engineering is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance, field service, or industrial tech experience on equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic meters.
• BS/AAS or technical certification in electronics/engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to install, commission, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on operation, maintenance and safety.
• Build and maintain customer relationships as main contact for service needs.
• Identify upsell opportunities including service agreements and preventive maintenance.
