ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in Addison, IL is seeking a technically skilled Field Service Engineer to install, commission, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair custom-built testing and industrial equipment at customer sites. You will also work at the facility writing SOPs, digitizing records, updating manuals, and shaping a growing service department, while building strong customer relationships.

This role requires travel roughly 70% domestically with some international trips, a BS/AAS or technical cert,

Qualifications

• BS, AAS, or technical certifications in electronics, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Polished, professional communication skills in customer-facing situations.
• Willing to travel 3–4 days per week (70% domestically, some international trips).

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer locations to install, commission, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose issues across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and guide repairs.
• Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on operation, maintenance and safety.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify upsell opportunities.
• Relay feedback to internal teams and assist with in-house testing during non-travel periods.
