Zaddy Solutions in Addison, IL seeks a technically skilled Field Service Engineer to service, install, calibrate, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites. You will also document procedures, train customer personnel, and help evolve service operations for growth.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while traveling 3–4 days per week across domestic sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in field service or industrial maintenance on equipment
• Read schematics and use diagnostic tools
• BS/AAS or technical certifications in electronics or engineering or equivalent experience
• Willing to travel ~3–4 days per week, 70% domestically with occasional international travel
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to install, commission, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
• Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and safety
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and act as primary service contact
• Identify upsell opportunities including service agreements and maintenance plans
• Relay field observations to internal teams for product and service improvements
• Assist with in-house assembly and equipment testing during non-travel periods
