Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer for industrial equipment and controls based in Addison, IL.

You will operate at customer sites as the technical expert and support back-end SOP development, digital recordkeeping, and service department growth. You will travel to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, train customer personnel, and build lasting relationships while identifying service opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance or field service on industrial equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• BS/AAS in electronics or related field preferred.
• Professional communication with customers in a consultative manner.
• Willing to travel 3-4 days per week, 70% domestically with occasional international trips.
• Valid driver’s license and passport, or ability to obtain both.

Aufgaben

• Travel to customer sites to install, calibrate, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Provide hands-on training to customers on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Build relationships and be the primary contact for ongoing service needs.
• Identify upsell opportunities such as service agreements and maintenance programs.
• Assist with in-house testing and assembly during non-travel periods.
• Relay field observations and customer feedback to internal teams to drive improvements.
