ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Addison, IL seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair custom‑built industrial equipment at customer sites. Expect 3–4 days of travel each week, mostly domestically, with hands‑on training for customers on operation, maintenance, and safety.

Back at the facility, you will write SOPs, digitize records, update manuals, and help grow the service department, while building strong customer relationships as the company face.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance or field service experience on industrial equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and operate diagnostic tools and meters.
• Polished communication, customer-facing consultative approach, and professional demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer locations to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Provide hands-on training on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as primary contact for service needs.
• Identify upsell opportunities including service agreements and preventive maintenance.
• Relay feedback to internal teams for product and service improvements.
• Assist with in-house assembly and equipment testing during non-travel periods.
