Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service industrial equipment and controls in Addison, IL. You will install, calibrate, diagnose, and repair complex systems on customer sites and at the facility, while documenting procedures and SOPs for scalable service delivery.

You will train customer personnel, maintain strong client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand service coverage. Domestic travel is expected, with occasional international trips.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance or field service experience
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools and meters
• BS or technical certs preferred; equivalent experience considered

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to install, commission, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
• Diagnose and resolve issues across hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
• Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on operation, maintenance and safety
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as primary contact for service needs
• Identify upsell opportunities including service agreements and maintenance programs
• Relay field observations to internal teams for product and service improvements
• Assist with in-house assembly and testing during non-travel periods
