Job summary

Cogent Analytics in Wisconsin is seeking an Industrial Sales Representative to drive on-site sales, perform gear inspections, and cultivate lasting relationships with customers across the territory.

You will travel up to 50%, read blueprints, generate quotes, and manage opportunities from lead to sale, while submitting daily briefs and weekly reports; base pay 55k–65k plus uncapped commissions and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/trade school or College degree (experience also will do in lieu of degree).
• Must have 2 years of servicing or calling on paper industry clients.
• Must have a stellar driving record and cover the southeastern US territory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-site sales and gear inspections to learn our products and territory.
• Develop technical knowledge to communicate products and services to customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and understand their needs.
• Maintain consistent contact with existing customers and make cold calls to prospective customers.
• Submit daily briefs and weekly reports (defined at hire).
• Read blueprints and drawings and communicate solutions.
• Provide services and customer support during field visits.
• Travel up to 50% and manage on-site projects with little supervision.
