Job summary

Cogent Analytics seeks an Industrial Sales Representative to support customer needs through best practices in the field. You will travel 50% of the time to perform on-site sales, gear inspections, and customer visits, developing product knowledge and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes building a robust pipeline, submitting quotes and RFQs, and documenting all interactions in the CRM, with a focus on safety and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Outstanding organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and communicating solutions.
• Must hold a valid driver license in good standings and be able to travel.
• Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-site sales and gear inspections, familiarizing with product and territory.
• Develop technical knowledge to communicate products and gear inspection services to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and update in the database.
• Generate leads and quotes from prospects to sale, including RFQs and follow-ups.
• Submit daily briefs and weekly reports as defined at hire.
• Drive 50% travel and perform on-site customer visits.
